The Master of Music in Solo Performance (MMusSP) is an intensive one-year graduate degree programme for musicians seeking focused, high-level performance training.

The programme is designed for musicians who wish to concentrate fully on their development as performers, without the requirement to undertake non-performance-related coursework. Through individual instruction, performance engagement, and reflective practice, students further develop their technical command, interpretative skills and artistic expression.

The MMusSP is particularly suited to musicians building on their undergraduate performance training and seeking a focused period of artistic development before progressing further in their professional careers. Students are encouraged to refine their individual artistic voice while developing the confidence, resilience and adaptability required of today’s professional performers.

Principal Study areas are offered in Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, Harp and Piano.
