Executive (Admissions, Financial Aid & Outreach)
The Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (YST), National University of Singapore, seeks a dynamic and highly motivated Executive (Admissions, Financial Aid & Outreach) to join the Student Life Office.
The individual is an integral member of the YST Student Life Office and will be responsible for administering all admission-related matters at the Conservatory by serving as the primary point of contact for prospective students, support admissions and financial aid processes, coordinate outreach initiatives, and oversee a range of specialised music programmes and workshops. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with talented young musicians, faculty members, schools, and arts organisations while contributing to the growth and vibrancy of Singapore’s premier conservatory.

Research Associate (Centre for Music and Health)
The Centre for Music and Health (CMH) is the first dedicated research centre in Southeast Asia to spearhead evidence-based research investigating the role of music for supporting health and well-being. Situated in the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, one of the leading conservatories in Asia, and embedded within a top-tier research university, CMH is uniquely positioned to bring together artistic practice, scientific research, and interdisciplinary collaboration to advance this emerging field.
The Centre develops and evaluates music-based programmes, interventions, and technologies to support health and wellbeing at NUS, in Singapore, and beyond. Through interdisciplinary translational research, community partnerships, and rigorous evaluation methods, CMH works to strengthen the evidence base for music and health while developing scalable approaches that can improve people’s lives.
CMH is inviting applications for the role of Research Coordinator. This role is offered on a 1-year renewable contract basis; renewal is subject to satisfactory job performance. (Expected start date: 2 Nov 2026)

Coordinator, Music as Collaborative Practice (MCP)

The Conservatory is distinctively international in terms of its faculty, student population and artistic outlook. Our mission is to be a focal point for musical activity, artistic development and research, for Singapore, the Asia-Pacific region, and beyond.
The Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music is launching Music as Collaborative Practice (MCP), a renewed major grounded in a central conviction that the 21st-century musician’s most valuable asset is not virtuosity alone, but the capacity to create meaningfully alongside others. The renewed MCP makes collaboration the curriculum and as the medium through which students master instrumental and vocal technique, composition, aural training, music theory and contextual studies.
YST is seeking an outstanding, experienced music professional to serve as Coordinator of MCP. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be an imaginative and organised practitioner-educator with a deep commitment to collaborative music-making, strong industry networks, and the ability to build and sustain a programme that integrates real-world project briefs, vertical peer mentorship, and co-designed assessment across a four-year conservatory curriculum.

Faculty Position in French Horn (Part-Time)

The Conservatory is distinctively international in terms of its faculty, student population and artistic outlook. Our mission is to be a focal point for musical activity, artistic development and research, both for Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
The Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music is seeking an outstanding artist/teacher of French Horn to join its faculty. This is a part-time position. The initial term of appointment shall be for one year (renewable). Applicants should have significant performance experience as a soloist and/or chamber musician and the desire and experience to teach gifted Conservatory students. In addition to maintaining a dynamic French Horn studio, the candidate will also be active in recruiting students to the Conservatory through both national and international involvement at various levels, including targeted pre-tertiary programs and similar organizations. In addition, the postholder will offer secondary study tuition to a select number of the Conservatory’s instrumental students.
