ABOUT THIS EVENT
Visiting Artist Koichiro Harada conducts a masterclass with YST violin students.
Koichiro Harada, an accomplished violinist, is celebrated for his exceptional musicianship and captivating performances. Hailing from Japan, Harada displayed remarkable talent for the violin from a young age. He pursued formal training at the prestigious Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo, studying under revered violinists Koichiro Harada and Yoshio Unno. He further honed his skills at the renowned Juilliard School in New York under the tutelage of the legendary Itzhak Perlman. Beyond his solo endeavors, Harada is an avid chamber musician, engaging in collaborations that result in captivating and dynamic performances. He has appeared at renowned concert venues and festivals, leaving an indelible impression with his chamber music interpretations.
Koichiro Harada is an Ong Teng Cheong Professor at YST.
