ABOUT THIS EVENT
Every year, the Conservatory Concerto Competition brings together YST Year 2 and 3 students to compete for the opportunity to play their chosen concerto with the YST Orchestral Institute, in a celebration of performance excellence and artistry.
Following a series of preliminary rounds within instrumental family groupings, the first and second- placed musicians from each area take the stage over two evenings. They will perform a complete work of their choice with piano accompaniment, assessed by an international panel of adjudicators.
Join us in witnessing this showcase of student talent, and find out who our next Concerto Prizewinners will be!
