Note: 

  • Non-English documents must be accompanied by English translation.
  • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents may submit a copy of their NRIC instead of a copy of their passport.
  • Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in a non-music field who have also completed a music-related diploma must submit the transcript and certificate for the music diploma, in addition to their bachelor’s degree transcript and certificate.
  • Applicants who are in the final semester or year of their bachelor’s degree at the point of application should submit a student status letter in place of the degree certificate.
  • Applicants should ensure that all video recordings are of good sound quality and have adequate and proper lighting. Recordings may be made in separate takes, but each piece must be performed in a single, unedited take under the same room conditions. Video files must be submitted in MP4, MPEG, MOV, MPG or WMV format, with each file not exceeding 500MB. Each file should be clearly labelled with the composer’s name, title of the work, and movement (if applicable).
  • All recorded files should be saved into ONE folder and uploaded to a shareable online drive (e.g. Google Drive, DropBox, OneDrive). Copy the shared folder link and paste it into the designated field in the online application form.
  • Externally graded music certificates (e.g. ABRSM, Trinity) are not required.
  • Recommendation letters and testimonials are optional.
