ABOUT THIS EVENT

LEAD! The Orchestra Project is a collaboration between ConNext partner schools Haute école de musique Genève (Switzerland), Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki (Finland) and Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (Singapore). Led by conductor Jukka-Pekka Saraste, orchestral and conducting students from the three schools come together in Helsinki, working alongside professional mentors to develop collaborative skills, leadership and industry competencies in support of their artistic identities and future careers. A livestream of the concert in Helsinki, catch LEAD! students and mentors taking the stage together to perform works by Sibelius, Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky.
