The Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and NUS Mind Science Centre collaborated to host A Celebration of Choral Singing on 2 February - a musical evening in more ways than one. Guests gathered to learn about the Choral Singing for the Prevention of Dementia Study, and enjoy choral performances from the senior citizens’ choir as well as YST Conservatory performers led by Maestro Masaaki Suzuki.
Congratulations to our YST Conservatory Orchestra and student soloists, Principal Conductor Jason Lai, Head of Strings Prof Qian Zhou and Composition faculty member Asst Prof Chen Zhangyi, for their passionate music-making in Intersections (9 April in Singapore, and 13 April in Seoul)! The pair of concerts brought to a full circle the partnership between YST Conservatory and the Korea National University of Arts, which we are thankful for. Read more.
