Royal Conservatoire of Scotland
The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland seeks to raise the transformative power and reach of the performing arts in Scotland and beyond, as a 21st century conservatoire. Beginning in 1847 as a music academy, it expanded its curriculum over the years to include drama, technical courses, diploma courses with strong academic elements, and practice-based research - building towards its collaborative curriculum today across music, drama, dance, production and film. Located at the heart of Glasgow, it is Scotland’s national centre of professional vocational training in the performance arts, and seeks to enrich the performing arts with new work and create the future of performance for generations to come.
