AUDIO ARTS & SCIENCES
The Audio Arts & Sciences (AAS) major is designed to meet the expanding need for skilled audio engineers, music producers, sound designers and acousticians who possess both technical expertise and sophisticated musical knowledge. AAS students benefit from spaces such as the Conservatory Recording Studio and the AAS Lab, which serve as classrooms for them to get more extensive practical experience in recording works ranging from jazz, rock, pop to orchestral repertoire. Students also attend seminars led by industry professionals, who share on topics ranging from their experiences and insights to applied methodologies. AAS is also available by application as a Second Major for NUS students from other faculties.
