Young Artist Programme
The Young Artist Programme is currently offered to 15-18 year olds who demonstrate outstanding performance abilities. The programme provides a place to nurture these younger students up until the point when they become eligible for placement to the BMus programme.
The programme is conducted by Conservatory faculty members and provides professional training in performance with supporting academic study. Students receive 1 hour per week of private lessons in their applied study, 2 hours per week of studio class, and have opportunities to participate in masterclasses, concerts, chamber music and orchestral sessions as agreed with the studio teacher and relevant module director.
Students are expected to continue to be enrolled in Singapore schools. Application for the Young Artist Programme takes place at the same time as the BMus admissions cycle and follows the same BMus performance requirements.
