Zhou Xiao Dong
Senior Lecturer, Recording Arts and Sciences
M.A. in Audio Science and Acoustics, graduated from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, Xiaodong was previously a faculty member and audio production program director at China Communication University teaching multi-track technology, as well as a guest lecturer at Beijing Film Academy teaching room acoustics.
He is the author of an audio recording engineer handbook (published by China Radio and Television Publishing House) and also co-authored The Technology for Modern Sound System Design (published by National Defense Industry Press). He won the best voice recording award in September 2006 at the 2nd Asia recording arts and science festival in Guangzhou, China. He is also the 1st prize winner of National Audio Recording Program quality evaluation released by China Recording Engineer Society. Xiaodong is a consultant for Ministry of Labor and Social Security of China. He edited teaching materials for Occupational Education (Senior Recording Engineer part), which has been published by the China Labour and Social Security Publishing House in 2008.
During the past few years, Xiaodong has engineered more than 200 live concerts and more than 100 studio sessions for soundtracks, released CDs and radio program. Xiaodong is a member of Audio Engineer Society.
