500 years ago, in 1517, Martin Luther posted his 95 ‘Theses’ on the chapel door of the All Saints Church in Wittenburg, marking the beginning of the reformation movement.  Luther, being a musician himself, felt that music should hold a greater place in the church and, naturally, Protestant musicians ran with it!  Join the Conservatory Voice Department as we present works of 2 of the most famous ‘Lutheran’ composers of their time - Heinrich Schütz and his famous Johannes Passion, and select solo cantatas of Georg Phillip Telemann.
