The Tianjin Juilliard School is a new venture developed jointly by The Juilliard School in New York and the Tianjin Conservatory of Music. Scheduled to open in the fall of 2019, the Tianjin Juilliard school will be the first performing arts institution in China to offer a US-accredited Master of Music degree, with specialisations in orchestral and chamber music performance as well as collaborative piano. It will have a permanent faculty and also guest faculty members, many of whom will be members of the Juilliard community. Alongside the graduate programme leading towards a Master of Music degree from Juilliard, it also offers a pre-college and public education programmes.
