ACM Lunchtime Series: CANTIAMO - IN THE SHADOW OF BEETHOVEN & SCHUBERT

  • Level 2 Foyer, Asian Civilisations Museum 1 Empress Place Singapore 179555 (map)

Although Beethoven and Schubert lived in the same city, the two were not what you would call close friends, in fact, it is said that they rarely met.  Wouldn’t it be nice if the two composers could spend a little more time together? We feel that way in the voice department and in order to explore that we will present a performance of vocal solos and ensembles of these two ‘greats’. Afterwards, we may be able to have a better perspective on who casts the larger shadow.
