SUMMARY:YST Young Pianists Academy: Piano Masterclasses
DESCRIPTION:Faculty from the YST Young Pianists Academy 2026 conduct a series of masterclasses\, working with participating young pianists to refine their musical performance and deepen their artistic voice. Led by YST Head of Piano Studies Professor Albert Tiu\, Assoc Prof Ning An and guest artist Mr Andrew Ma Cong\, these sessions are open to the public to attend and observe\, offering audiences the opportunity to experience the professional expertise of veteran artists as well as the learning process of young musicians up close. \nFACULTY AND VENUES \n\nProfessor Albert Tiu — YST Concert Hall \nAssoc Prof Ning An — YST Ensemble Room 1 \nMr Andrew Ma Cong — YST Ensemble Room 3 \n\n  \nABOUT YST YOUNG PIANISTS ACADEMY 2026 \nThe YST Young Pianists Academy returns in 2026 from 25 – 28 June\, promising four days of inspiration\, artistry and transformation for young pianists. Hosted by YST’s Piano Department\, this immersive academy brings together our faculty line-up: YST Head of Piano Studies\, Professor Albert Tiu and Assoc Prof Ning An\, alongside distinguished guest artists Mr Andrew Ma Cong and Mr Lim Yan. \nDesigned for highly motivated young pianists aged 13 to 18\, the Academy offers individual lessons\, public masterclasses\, chamber lessons\, performance coaching and a culminating showcase concert. More than a training course\, the Academy is a vibrant meeting of emerging talents who are challenged to deepen their musical voice\, and experience the energy of the Conservatory’s thriving performance environment. \n  \nTICKETING INFORMATION \nAdmission is free and on a first-come\, first-served basis. For everyone’s safety\, admission will close once the venue reaches full capacity. \nOut of respect for all patrons\, late admission will only be allowed at suitable intervals.
