Allegro ma non troppo \nCreative Project Presentation \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THIS EVENT\nThrough a week-long series of creative workshops during orientation\, with mentorship by Assoc Prof Ty Constant and visiting professor Karst De Jong\, Conservatory freshmen collaborate on their first musical project to present a new compositional work based on improvisational styles.  \nThis first noon recital of the semester will also feature first-year orchestral majors performing the first movement of Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony\, conducted by YST alumnus Wilson Ong\, and vocal students in a performance mentored by Prof Alan Bennett. \nTICKETING INFORMATION\n• Free admission.• All event information is correct at time of print.• Out of respect for other concertgoers\, no children under 6 years of age will be allowed admission.
