Adagio \nSTEPHANIE TAN HUI MIN (B.Mus4)\, clarinet  \n* Piano accompaniment by Beatrice Lin. \nABOUT THE ARTIST \nBorn in Guiyang in 1974\, Yuan began the study of clarinet at age eleven and entered the middle school attached the Central Conservatory of Music in 1987\, under Professor Yuan Fu Huang. In 1992\, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music for clarinet performance under Professor Chun Xiao Tao. In 1996\, he graduated with honors and began his life as a teacher in the Central Conservatory of Music. In 1997\, Yuan left for advanced study at the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music in Holland under Professor Herman Braune. \nYuan joined the China Philharmonic Orchestra as deputy principal clarinet in 2005. With them he has toured hundreds of cities in Asia\, Europe and America\, and worked with many famous conductors and soloists. \nABOUT THIS EVENT \nYuan Yuan conducts a virtual Masterclass with YST clarinetists. \nThis event will be livestreamed on the Conservatory’s YouTube channel.
