Welcome to a “Piano Prequel” concert\, featuring the prototypes of all twelve of Liszt’s Transcendental Etudes in their original incarnations – indeed the composer’s Opus 1. Liszt enthusiasts will no doubt recognise these familiar warhorses – even in their seminal stages – and gain insight into the evolution of Liszt’s fiendishly difficult piano technique.  \nTICKETING INFORMATION  • Free admission.  • All event information is correct at time of print.  • Out of respect for other concertgoers\, no children under 6 years of age will be allowed admission.
