The program features Marin Marais’ Chaconne from Alcyone\, W.F. Bach’s Adagio and Fugue in D minor\, Handel’s Concerto Grosso in B-flat Major\, Op. 3 No. 1\, H.I.F. Biber’s Battalia à 10\, and Igor Stravinsky’s Symphony in C – each composition a story-telling of familiar battles that have perennially plagued\, confronted\, and defined our shared humanity. Different in shape and form these battles may be – spiritual or physical\, distantly mythological\, or bitingly real – they demand resilience and unwavering hope towards a better future.
