Schumann and Brahms\, who can be considered to be Beethoven’s successors in the Germanic tradition\, wrote their violin sonatas relatively late in their careers. YST Collaborative Piano faculty Lim Yan with long-time collaborator Lee Shi Mei present this programme of three sonatas which share a motivic connection (as alluded to in the programme title)\, which also appears in Brahms’s Three Intermezzi for piano solo. \n \nTICKETING INFORMATION• Tickets at $10 from Eventbrite • All event information is correct at time of print. • Out of respect for other concertgoers\, no children under 6 years of age will be allowed admission.
