Haydn\, whose work was crucial in creating the string quartet in its current form\, composed his Op. 76 in 1797. Korngold\, a master of film scores in his time\, composed the second quartet in 1933\, just before his first visit to Hollywood. The evening ends with Schubert’s String Quintet D956 – composed in 1828 and one of the pinnacles of the chamber music canon. \nRegister Here \nPresent your ticket/confirmation at Bar Bar Black Sheep (Kent Ridge) to enjoy 20% off food\, and beer/wine/cocktails & more at $4.90 nett each! *Valid only on date of ticket \n \nTICKETING INFORMATION \n• Free admission via Eventbrite registration. • All event information is correct at time of print.• Out of respect for other concertgoers\, no children under 6 years of age will be allowed admission. \nPhoto credits: Felix Broede
