Allegro\, ben marcato \nSHERZOD ABDIEV\, violinGE XIAOZHE\, piano \nABOUT THIS EVENT \nAfter a series of preliminary rounds\, where YST second and third-year students competed within their instrumental family groupings\, the Conservatory Concerto Competition Finals brings together the first and second-placed musicians from each area\, to compete for the opportunity to play their chosen concerto with the Conservatory Orchestra in August 2021. Eight finalists compete over two evenings\, performing a complete work of their choice accompanied by the piano. The event culminates with the announcing of three soloists by our international panel of adjudicators. \nThis event will be livestreamed on the Conservatory’s YouTube channel.
